BODC 50th anniversary
BODC celebrated 50 years of marine data management in 2019! (have a look at BODC web pages dedicated to this event)
The focus of the celebrations took place on Wednesday 8th May, with a nostalgic look back at the last 50 years and a look to what the future might hold for marine data management. A strong emphasis of the day was celebrating the strong partnerships forged along the way.
All attendees at the SeaDataCloud meetings (SG 6 and TTG 6) have been cordially invited to join BODC to help mark this special milestone.
Celebrations took place at The Bluecoat in Liverpool City Centre – the oldest ‘Grade 1’ listed building in Central Liverpool. A drinks reception was held at the venue following the day’s events.
