SDC - Steering group 6
The 6th steering group meeting, organised by BODC (British Oceanographic Data Centre, UK), took place on Tuesday 7 May 2019 (full day) in Liverpool (UK) at Sensor City, close to BODC office.
BODC held an event to celebrate its 50th anniversary the following day (Wednesday 8 May 2019) at The BlueCoat in Liverpool city centre.
A total of 14 participants attended the 6th STG meeting + 4 remotely.

How to get there: Liverpool John Lennon Airport is approximately 12km from the city centre, with regular connections by bus and taxi. A taxi to the city centre is likely to cost about £15-20. Alternatively, Manchester Airport is also very accessible from central Liverpool, via regular trains (1-1.5 hrs) and coach (~1 hr).
