Organisation

The coordination is entrusted to IFREMER, who designates the Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator (PC - IFREMER) is assisted by:

Key-people:

• an EU project officer
• a Technical Coordinator (MARIS)
  • who assists the project coordinator, acting as a Deputy Coordinator, and has the responsibility of coordinating the overall technical development.
• a Scientific Coordinator (EU-JRC)
  • who coordinates the Scientific Committee
• 9 Work-Package leaders (The Project Coordinator leading himself 2 work packages)
  • who monitor and guide the progress of the WP activity by regular communication to the partners concerned.
• 6 Regional Coordinators for products (IFREMER, IMR, INGV, METU-IMS, RBINS, SMHI)
  • who lead the activity of the regional groups
