Register as a SeaDataNet user

The SeaDataNet portal and all metadata services are public domain. However, a User Registration is required for submitting requests for data sets and for downloading data sets from the distributed data centres, which is arranged via the Common Data Index (CDI) service . 

For registration, SeaDataNet makes use of the marine-id services. Therefore, you are asked to register with marine-id (in order to get a personal login name and password). The marine-id registration includes details such as e-mail address which are required for handling and keeping you informed about the progress of your data requests. 

• Register as SeaDataNet user
• Ask for a new password (if already registered), on marine-id
• Change your personal information (if already registered), on marine-id
